The Divine Gardener
Garden imagery is woven throughout scripture and the life of Christ. This is not a coincidence, but an intentional theme chosen by God. We begin the story of creation with the Garden of Eden, we enter into Christ’s passion through the agony in the garden, and our Lord meets Mary Magdalene at the garden outside of His tomb after the resurrection. Not only that, but she first sees Him as a gardener (John 20:15).
About From the Garden
From the Garden was inspired by a moment in prayer in which Elisa, our founder, was praying about the inspiration behind her art practice. Oftentimes, the Holy Spirit invites her to pray with the image of her heart as His garden, a place in which all inspiration is born.
From the Garden is a Catholic art ministry that seeks to turn your gaze towards God the Father. Through art prints, faux leather notebooks, and vinyl stickers, weave beauty that inspires into your everyday life.
About the Artist
During Elisa's time as a missionary, she felt the call to give her entire life to Christ, and that included her art practice. As her prayer life unfolded, her art practice began to be transformed.
Elisa’s art practice began with small sketches and oil paintings inspired by her prayer, and has expanded to bring beauty into the midst of everyday life through her artwork and intentionally designed notebooks.
